Huehuetenango is the most reputable and credible coffee plantation region in north Guatemala. The region is characterized by warm temperature, rain fall, dried air drift from Mexico and rich high-mountain volcanic soil. Within the same region, different small areas are dominated by different microclimate. Coffee beans are collected from small farms, transported to the regional hub and processed centrally in order to maintain stable and supreme quality. All plantation and processing are under strict monitoring of the Guatemala government.
The medium-roasted coffee exhibits distinctive notes of apple, tropical fruits and wine, with rounded chocolate and caramel finish.
This coffee can be brewed via espresso machines as SOE, pourover filter, siphon, French press or moka pot.
